The Goo Goo Dolls hit the road in April for a spring acoustic tour: "The Otis Midnight Sessions." The shows will be performed in a "Story Tellers" format that enables the multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band to dig deep into an extensive song catalog spanning their nearly 30-year history. The Miami University Middletown performance in 670 seat Dave Finkelman Auditorium offers a rare opportunity for fans to see them perform in a more intimate setting than the Goos normally visit on their many live treks.
Run River North will open for The Goo Goo Dolls. They have performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, at the Grammy Museum and been interviewed on NPR's Weekend Edition with Scott Simon, all before releasing their self-entitled debut album in January. Run River North's six bandmates range in age from 20 to 27 and all come from first-generation Korean-American families. They started playing together in 2011 under the name Monsters Calling Home.
