Harris Up Close:
When you're on the court, you dive on the floor, into the stands or over press rows.
What's going through your mind:
It's all for the team. By any means necessary. I do what I have to do. If it takes diving in the stands to grab momentum or if it gets my teammates excited by making a big play. It's all about team.
You look like you are having a lot of fun:
A lot of fun! A lot of people don't get this opportunity. I'm just thankful. That's why I smile so much -- I'm thankful for the opportunity to play.
Harris led the A-10 in assist-to-turnover ratio:
Considering your fast-paced style of play, is there anything special you do to keep those numbers down:
It's all the system and keeping care of the ball. Coach Moxley drills me everyday. It's my job to get people the ball in the right position -- and the more possessions we have without a turnover, the better.
Harris has hosted the school's TV show [quote]The 49ers Insider[quote]:
You seem comfortable in front of a camera. Any broadcast career goals:
I actually do. I would love to be an ESPN analyst. I feel like I could do a good job. That's a career goal after basketball. I'd love to be an analyst.
On or off the court, you are a people person. Have you ever met a stranger:
No. Never. I feel comfortable talking with anybody on any level. You can bring someone's day up if you just open your mouth and talk to them.
Harris is a Charlotte native:
Who are some of your 49er favorites:
Eddie Basden. I really enjoyed watching him. He did everything. His defense. He could score. He was a leader. Curtis Withers. Brendan Plavich. Demon Brown. DeMarco Johnson -- I've followed Charlotte for a long time.
