Sarah Hope enters her second season with the Holy Cross women’s basketball team in 2018-2019. She was elevated to assistant coach on January 31, 2019 after serving as the Director of Operations since the beginning of the 2017-18 season.
Hope comes to Holy Cross after graduating from Boston University, where she was a four-year student-athlete with the women’s basketball team. She served as team captain as a junior and a senior, and holds the school record for career three-point completions. She was named Second Team All-Patriot League in 2016-2017, and the All-Patriot League Rookie team in 2014-2015. Hope was also named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
While at Boston University, Hope served as an American Sign Language Peer Tutor and a marketing intern with the athletic department. She also worked as a coach with Donor Elite Basketball from 2014 to 2015, and the Natick High School Summer League in the summer of 2017.
Hope was also a member of the Bloom Family Leadership Academy for over three years, and participated in the So You Want To Be A Coach program as well as the NCAA Career in Sports Forum and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at BU.
Hope graduated from Boston University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
