The Student-Athlete Academic Enhancement program provides comprehensive and progressive services and resources to student athletes. It enables our student-athletes to balance the demands of academics and athletics. The Academic Enhancement program seeks to promote excellence, enhance retention and increase graduation rates among athletes. It provides academic monitoring; ensuring that all athletes are doing what is required to become successful in the classroom and their athletic environment.

Lastly, the Helping Athletes Rise to the Top (H.A.R.T.) program creates a peer-supported environment for student-athletes to maximize academic, personal and social growth. The Student-Athlete Academic Enhancement Program is under the division of The Center for Student Success (TCSS), which provides academic success among all students. The program is under the leadership of LaWanda Wallace, the coordinator of academic monitoring for student-athletes, and is located on the third floor of Hodgin Hall.
