Jacks team up with Samaritan's Feet
For the second year in a row, the South Dakota State University football team is partnering with Samaritan's Feet to raise awareness for the non-profit organization that provides shoes for deserving children.
"Please join me in helping make a difference for those who are in need," Jackrabbit head coach John Stiegelmeier said. "Most of us cannot comprehend what it means to go without some basic needs. It is hard to imagine that there are those in our midst who need shoes. Please picture being the very individual who literally puts a pair of shoes on a person in need. That is Making a Difference."
Stiegelmeier plans to go through warmups in his bare feet to help raise awareness, and Jackrabbit players will wear orange wrist bands in honor of Samaritan's Feet.
