WALNUT, Calif. – Trent Lusignan put himself in elite company tonight with his performance in 10,000-meter run at the Mt. SAC Relays. Lusignan set a personal best and his time now ranks third in SDSU history. He finished fifth in the race overall with a time of 29:40.56. Current Head Coach Rod DeHaven’s time of 29:39.61 ranks second in SDSU history.

Lusignan currently ranks 19th in the NCAA Division I west region.

Erin Hargens also set a personal best in the 10,000-meter run with her time of 36:50.60. She finished 17th overall in the race.

Courtney Neubert finished the 10,000-meter run in 37:32.33.

The Jackrabbits will be back in action tomorrow at the Mt. SAC Relays and the Bryan Clay Invite. The Bryan Clay Invite will be starting at 9:00 a.m. (PST) with the men’s steeplechase and the women’s long jump. A handful of athletes will be competing at the Mt. SAC Relays tomorrow.
