SDSU women in last at Summit League Championships

PRIMM, Nev. - The South Dakota State women's golf team currently sits in 10th place at the Summit League Championships at the Primm Valley Golf Club Lakes Course. The Jackrabbit women compiled a 36-hole score of 647 (320-327) on Monday and are three strokes out of ninth place in the 10-team, 50-player field.

Brittany Hanten led the Jacks, firing a 153 (77-76) and is tied for 10th. Morgan Fitts registered a 160 (79-81) and is tied for 28th place. Alli Plath carded a 161 (79-82) and is tied for 29th. Amber Houser shot a 173 (85-88) and is in 49th place. Jordan Trohkimoinen tallied a 178 (86-92) and is in 50th place.

Oral Roberts leads the field with a score of 611 (297-314). UMKC is in second with a score of 617 (308-309), while North Dakota State is in third with a score of 619 (306-313). Amy Anderson of NDSU leads individually with a 36-hole score of 142 (72-70).

The third and final round starts Tuesday morning.
