Jackrabbit women in 3rd at Creighton Classic

OMAHA, Neb. - The South Dakota State women's golf team is currently in third place through one round of the Creighton Classic. The Jackrabbit women compiled an 18-hole team score of 325 and are one stroke out of second place.

Alli Plath leads the Jacks with a score of 80 and is tied for seventh. Morgan Fitts and Brittany Hanten both carded scores of 81 and are tied for 12th. Amber Houser registered an 83 and is tied for 17th. Jordan Trohkimoinen tallied an 89 and is tied for 47th. Lindsey Eisenhuth and Myranda Dunmire both competed as individuals and shot scores of 90 and 93, respectively.

Northern Iowa leads the 14-team field with a score of 307, while Brittany Atterbury of UNI leads individually with a score of 72.

The second and final round starts Tuesday morning.
