DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men’s basketball open practice Saturday, Sept. 28 will be broadcast live on GoDuke.com from 10-11:30 a.m. The 90-minute broadcast, produced by the Blue Devil Network, will be hosted by Ryan Craig and Jon Jackson with additional analysis from Blue Devil IMG Sports Network commentator John Roth and other special guests.
Duke, ranked among the top five teams in the country by all major preseason publications, begins practice Friday, Sept. 27 before hosting the open practice the following day. The Blue Devils return two double-figure scorers from a year ago in third team All-ACC pick Quinn Cook (11.7 ppg.) and All-ACC Freshman Team selection Rasheed Sulaimon (11.6 ppg.). Head coach Mike Krzyzewski’s unit also features four other players with starting experience as well as transfer Rodney Hood and three freshmen in Matt Jones, Semi Ojeleye and Jabari Parker.

Saturday’s practice is also open to the public and kicks off a full Homecoming day for Blue Devil fans. The Duke football team hosts Troy at 3 p.m., with the volleyball squad facing Virginia Tech in a 7:30 p.m. tilt. Fans will also have the opportunity to take in activities around Blue Devil Alley, the Blue Devil Walk and Club Blue Devil as well as meeting the 2013 National Championship Duke men’s lacrosse team at an autograph session during halftime of the football game.
