DURHAM -- It didn’t take Miles and Mason Plumlee long to impress NBA fans this summer.

Miles, now in his second season with the Indiana Pacers, finished his 2013 summer debut with nine points, nine rebounds and six blocks in his team’s 76-68 loss to Oklahoma City Sunday night. Plumlee made his presence felt on both ends of the floor, resulting in highlights at the rim on offense and defense.

The elder Plumlee, a first-round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, finished his team’s second summer league game with a double-double, scoring 16 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in a 96-75 win over Philadelphia Monday afternoon.

Not to be outdone by his older brother, Mason, the 22nd overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, showed the executives at the New Jersey Nets why they were smart to draft the talented big man.

In his professional debut, Mason recorded a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds while adding a spectacular coast-to-coast drive and dunk.
