2008 NCAA All-American (60 Hurdles)... Two-Time Sun Belt Champion (55 Hurdles)... Three-time FIU Record Holder... Three-time All-Sun Belt


2008 Indoors: Became the third male in FIU history to be named an NCAA All-American after he placed third in a photo finish in the 60 meter hurdles at the 2008 NCAA Indoor Championships with a school record 7.58... Captured the Sun Belt title for the second year in a row in the 55 hurdles, running a 7.31 in the final after breaking the Sun Belt Championship record with a 7.29 in the prelims... Set FIU records in the 60 hurdles on four occasions, tying it with a 7.98 in the season-opening LSU Purple Tiger Invitational... Also broke the school’s 55 hurdle mark with a 7.28 at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational... Ran what was the second-fastest 60 hurdle time in the nation entering NCAAs with a 7.68 in the consolation final of the New Balance Collegiate Invitational... Was also FIU’s top performer in the 200 meters, running a 22.33 at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational and a 22.36 at the Sun Belt Championships to finish 15th... Placed 22nd among collegians in the 60 meter dash with a 7.17 at the LSU Purple Tiger Invitational.


2007 Indoors: Won the 55 hurdles at the Sun Belt Championships with a season-best time of 7.41... Also placed fifth and sixth among collegians, respectively, in the same event at the Gator Invitational (7.50) and the Florida Intercollegiate (7.83)... Also competed in the 200 meters in three meets, with his best performance coming in the prelims at the SBC Championships, a 22.37 which led to an 11th-place finish.


2006 Outdoors: Recorded the team’s top times in both the 110-meter and 400-meter hurdles... Won both events at the Golden Knights Twilight, posting a season-best time of 53.95 seconds in the 400-hurdles... Posted another pair of top-five showings in the 110-meter hurdles, including at the Diet Pepsi Invitational where he finished in a season-best 14.32 secondsójust .02 seconds off the NCAA Regional qualifying standard... Scored for FIU in the event at the Sun Belt Conference Championships.


2006 Indoors: Scored for FIU in both the 55-meter hurdles and 4x400-meter relay at the Sun Belt Conference Championships... Posted a pair of top-five finishes in the 55-meter hurdles, including finishing third among collegians at Boston University’s Valentine Invitational in a season-best 7.57 seconds... Also helped the 4x4 to three top-five finishes.


2005 Outdoors: picked up first All-Sun Belt Conference accolades with a runner-up finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the championship meet in a season-best 52.79 seconds... Also turned in top-five finishes at the USF and Hurricane Invitationals... Turned in the team’s second-fastest time in the 110-meter hurdles during the prelims of the conference championship, crossing the line in a season-best 14.40 seconds... Finished eighth in the finals to score for the Golden Panthers... Also scored for FIU as the third leg of the sixth-placing 4x400-meter relay.


2005 Indoors: Scored for FIU at the Sun Belt Championships as the anchor the 4x400-meter relay.


At Bacone College: Competed in outdoor track & field for one season.


Prep: A multi-sport athlete at John Gray, competing in track & field, soccer, swimming, cricket and baseball... In track & field, earned Champion Boy honors as a freshman, junior and senior for being the highest scoring athlete after winning the 100 meters, 200 meters, shot put, discus and 4x100-meter relay... Named “Victor Lidurium” as a senior as the all-around champion... Posted personal-best times of 21.73 seconds in the 200 meters, 51.94 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles and a 46.0-second split in the 4x400-meter relay.


Personal: Born April 5, 1985... Son of Ronnie and Karen Forbes... Has two siblings, Reuben (18) and Kristen (12)... Off the track, enjoys drawing and listening to music... A business administration major.
