Mississippi State Athletic Ticket Office

2016 Football Seat-Upgrade Ticket Information

The 2016 season football ticket renewal period is complete and once again we are letting you handle the process of improving your seats. The MSU Ticket Office will be using the same software system used in last year’s upgrade process. What this means to you and what options you will have in the seat-upgrade process are explained to you below.

What is the seat-upgrade process and how does it work?

In early May, the MSU Athletics Department will begin seat upgrades for football starting with Faculty/Staff seat upgrades in sections 21 and 22 ONLY.  Then Bulldog Club Members will be given an exclusive seat selection time based on their rank as of March 31, 2016.

If you are interested in upgrading your seats, you will have the opportunity to log into the seat relocation management system at a specific date and time and see all available inventory in Davis Wade Stadium.  You may relocate your seats into any open seat in the stadium (you may not create an open single seat) provided you make the necessary Bulldog Club donation required for the location of the seat.

Please refer to the 2016 seating diagram and chart for updated seating obligations and pricing. To view the 2016 Bulldog Club Priority Seating Chart Click Here

Does everyone have to participate in the seat-upgrade process?

No. This is NOT a reseating, only an optional seat-upgrade process. If you are happy with your current season ticket location and are not interested in changing, you may choose to OPT OUT of this process by clicking here.

What sections am I allowed to choose in the seat-upgrade process?

The MSU ticket office is not restricting anyone with a full price ($340) ticket other than faculty and staff. Example...If you have seats in section 06 and want to move to a Club Level or section 05 or any section other than 21,  you will be allowed to do this provided you make the necessary corresponding Bulldog Club contribution.

The only restrictions the MSU ticket office will put on during this process will be faculty and staff along with Top Dog season ticket holders.

If you are a Top Dog season ticket holder and would like to move to the lower bowl or to any priority seating you must contact the ticket office in order to move to these areas. This restriction is to make you aware of the extra added cost associated with priority seating.

** PLEASE NOTE THAT RENEWAL RATES WERE EXTREMELY HIGH AND WE EXPECT FEW UPGRADE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THOSE IN THE MOST PRIME AREAS OF DAVIS WADE STADIUM.

As selection times approach, you will begin receiving reminder emails about your specific date and time to upgrade. You are encouraged to visit the Seats3D model by Ballena Technologies that gives you a chance to view sight lines from different sections in the stadium and even compare two different sections side by side in the same window.

For all questions regarding 2016 football season ticket options or the Davis Wade Stadium seat-upgrade process, please contact the MSU Bulldog Club at (662) 325-3074 or the MSU Athletics Ticket Office at (888) GO-DAWGS.
