Bay Vista Aquatics Complex

The Bay Vista Aquatic Center is the home of the FIU Swimming & Diving program. One of South Florida's most scenic aquatic facilities, overlooking beautiful Biscayne Bay, the Center offers an outdoor, eight-lane, 50-meter Olympic-size competition swimming pool. In addition, there is a separate diving well complete with two new diving boards, a 1-meter and a 3-meter spring.

The facility also includes an electronic timing system, complete with touch pads in all eight lanes and a Daktronics scoreboard. Adjacent to the pool is the Wolfe University Center which houses a state-of-the-art weight room plus a locker room facility. The Wolfe Center was recently expanded to include new varsity weight and locker room facilities overlooking both the pool and Biscayne Bay.

Because of its ideal location, convenience and spaciousness of its facilities, this state-of-the-art complex has quickly become a popular venue for other collegiate teams seeking a training facility during the winter months. In addition to its use by the Golden Panther Swimming & Diving program, the facility is open to FIU students, faculty/staff and the general public. Non-credit swimming and lifeguard classes are also held throughout the year, while credit classes are occasionally offered.
